Can you extend in the IRR (Inactive Ready Reserve)?

I'm currently in the USAF IRR and my time will expire this August. I previously did 4 years in the USAF then I found out that I have a total of 8 years obligation, so my remaining 4 years I was in the IRR. However, this is about to expire. I'm wondering if you can extend your time in the IRR.
