What amp do i need for my alpine type r?

i have a 10" Alpine Type R SWR 1023D and its 2ohm + 2ohm so dual 2 ohm voice coils. it has 1800w peak and runs at 600rms. someone told me an alpine MRP-M500 wouldnt work? the amp says it runs --- Per channel into 4 ohms: 300W x 1 or Per channel into 2 ohms: 500W x 1 how would i get the 500w outs of it? thanks for helping, im just getting into subs and this will be my first one so i do not kno that much about them
