Which one would be better MRP-M1000 or MRX-M100?

I have two 12'' R types (2 ohms) and I just wanted to know if there is much of a difference between the two amps? If so which one would be better to get? I would also like to know what gauge of wire I should use to wire the subs to the amp. Thanks for the help. Its is greatly appreciated.
