Can maxing out a new Alpine Type R damage it?

On the deck(ALPINE CDE-124SXM) the subwoofer is at 15(max), bass is at neutral, and the volume is at 22. The amp is a MRP-M500(500watt rms), with the gain and everything set to max. The sub is a 12" Alpine Type R(600watt rms), new straight from the store. I've noticed from the volume at 20-25 the bass is the same, so I am assuming that it is at its max. Could playing it for an hour have damage it?
