I bought an hp headset;and i want to know weather it is a stereo headset?

the name of headset is hp dual earphone with mic. it is not written stereo anywhere on the headset or the cover or on the internet reviews. MRP-675Rs though i bought it for 500. sound quallity is only average . no good bass response. in the cover it is written this headset is used for chatting and internet to telephone long distant call.i want to listen to music and watch movies with it not for any other purpose.somebody tell me wether it is design to listen to music with it? wether it is stereo or not?
