Popping coming from my sub?

i have a alpine type r with an alpine mrp 500 powering it. I got it hooked up and it worked fine for two weeks. my box fell over in my vehicle a couple days ago and a day after it started to make a popping noise. I took it out and tried it with my friends amp and it didnt make a popping noise. Is it my amp or my wiring?
